The laundry facility is located in student village 4 (SV4).
- Those in SV4 can deposit and collect their laundry at any time of the day.
- Those in other SVs' (SV1 - SV3) need to deposit or collect their laundry on two pre-allocated days of the week near the guard office of their respective SVs'. On any day other than the two pre-allocated days, you may need to personally carry your laundry to and from SV4.
Word of advice: Collect your washed laundry as soon as possible. The more you delay the greater there is a chance that one or two pieces may go missing. Once that happens, one ends up in a wild goose chase of following up with the launderer every other week until the clothes are found or declared non traceable. If non traceable you need to follow up relentlessly for a refund which again is a harrowing experience. I personally went through this situation and had to take the help of operations to expedite my refund after a three month delay. Retain all receipts with care.
Services Mohali
The laundry facility is located in the bachelor housing (BH) building. Since the married and bachelor housing buildings are located close by, there is no collection of laundry concept. The launderer opens for service between 5 PM to 8PM on six days of the week and everyone needs to visit during this time frame.
